The Pity Poem

The audience with their hollow eyes
Craving more and more
Hollowed out brains and years of decay
They know not who or what or why
Their appetite only getting larger
As the starving artist tries to feed the hungry

Folking Around
A lot has happened in my life since the last time I bothered to pour my little heart out to the internet, but I don't feel much like disclosing anything too personal quite yet.  Allow me to bore you with the least entertaining first.  I took the ACT's yesterday morning.  And though I felt I did considerably better than the last attempt on the first few sections, I completely massacred the science and writing portions.  I have no authority as to disclose exact information about those sections but I will tell you that I did not have enough time to write my essay seeing as I spent far too much time pre-planning, and science, well, let's just say my whole sophomore year spent in biology was a complete waste as far as helping me out in the science field.
I was going to write more, but I just came down with a sudden case of complete apathy to do any sort of catharsis.

Hope your weekend was enjoyable.

I spend my Friday and Saturday nights at coffee places with my friends, listening to the crappy indiexcore music they play to try to make their place seem a little bit more sophisticated but we know beneath that facade it's just another cup of coffee.  Make it black.  I don't always participate, sometimes I just like to watch.  I've been trying to read a lot lately because it's one of the few things I can do that will fill up my time and still make me feel as if I've accomplished something.  I know that you probably won't read this, and even more likely than you not reading is you not commenting, because you really do have better things to do.  And I know you do.  Right now there's a girl on my screen who's gawking at me, but she's not looking, she doesn't see.  But yet it's not so much as a girl as a blatnat advertisement for American Apparel.  The sexy librarian at my school complains that the CEO of American Apparel is a pig and he hates women and though she's all down for ethical threads, she can't stand to see the rights of women violated.  All the students like her, because she has yet to become grumpy and old and "wise" like the other librarians who will rant about their uteruses and the trials of motherhood. I don't know why I'm writing this. Or why you're reading this, if you are.  I didn't mean to come here, but I click on the address bar and the ghost of mindsay came back and soon I found myself typing the URL and soon I found myself making a new account and whatdoyouhaveit, here I am and here you are.  I probably sound stupid writing all of this, for all you strangers to see, for you to criticize or roll your eyes because this is just another silly blog.

Well, at least you've got that right.
